X-treme Duty Valves...

AIRman valves include many features specifically for mobile pneumatic application:

  • Aircraft quality bar stock aluminum is impact blasted before anodize to provide a hardened surface that will resist corrosion and abuse.
  • Valve bores are honed smooth to 16 RMS or better to promote better seal wear and prevent “sticking”.
  • Balanced spool design allows universal plumbing of ports.
  • Seal materials have been chosen for their durability, their resistance to chemical contamination and their temperature range.
  • Assembly lubricant is “AMI HT” Teflon impregnated silicone grease rated to minus 75 degrees F. and resists wash away from airline condensation.
  • Stainless steel fasteners ensure reliable assembly and resist corrosion.
  • Internal orificing interfaces are machined to eliminate damage to crossing seals.
  • Push/Pull knobs provide ergonomic interface for heavy gloves.
  • Low power draw solenoid operators are rated IP65/NEMA 4X and are guaranteed against burnout for the life of the valve.
  • All Xtreme Duty Valves are rated -40 to 180 degrees F.
  • Available in 2, 3 and 4 way control configurations.
